I had the opportunity to go to Israel for the second time in November 2017, to participate as a guest artist at Nomi Tanhausser’s Clay art exhibition. She hosted me at her home in Jerusalem where I was introduced to Yair Dalal’s music. It was very moving for me, and with the help of Nomi, I understood the lyrics and the meaning of the song.
When I got back home, I sang and recorded the song on my phone and also made this clay art of Yair Dalal, the singer, musician playing Oud instrument.
It is memorable for me as it reminds me of the beautiful time spent in Jerusalem.
