Ufo House is a table lamp totally inspired in our extraterrestrial friends. The inspiration of the white metal base comes from that light coming out of the extraterrestrial spacecraft. The top is like their home, that is the House of the name.

Ufo House is a portable lightweight desk lamp. If you want to carry it in a suitcase or backpack, you can choose to disassemble it and it will be more compact. It has an on and off switch to use it. No need to take it out the power plug.
Project Duration and Location:
The project started in October 2017 and it was concluded in April 2018. Initiated in Santos SP and finished in Sao Paulo SP.

Production / Realization Technology:
The white base of UFO House is made of 10mm diameter carbon steel tubes. It was used wood pines plates with 18mm thick and 320mm in diameter to make the top part .The lighting is composed of LED.

Research Abstract:
The research was based on the spacecrafts of extraterrestrial people. There are a lot of movies e TV series showing shapes and types of crafts. It was very cool to see how people imagine and how creative they are. We chose the very best formats and mixed them together to design the lamp.

Challenge:
In the UFO House, all the pieces were very easy to produce and cut, but in the final mounting of folding and fitting the grid, it sure did a lot of work. The grid is not as flexible as it looks and would come out gradually, even if it was docked. The way to solve this problem was to screw the grid into the wood.
