Tokyo Tours: Three-Day Sakura Circuit is a guidebook for an all-encompassing cherry blossom tour throughout Tokyo, Japan. This is intended not only to be a helpful guide while walking through the streets of Japan, but also a keepsake to hold onto long after the trip ends. This traditional Japanese noble stitching technique was used to make the book feel thoughtful and special.
All of the street addresses used in the guidebook are written using Plus Codes, which work just look coordinates or addresses but don't require being able to read Japanese. When the user downloads the Tokyo Tours: Sakura app and scans the Plus Codes with the in-app camera, the app then pairs with their maps app and leads them to the destination. Once they arrive, fun trivia appears on the screen about their location, that way they have a sense of accomplishment and learn something new.
