Flare Affairs Promotional Poster
Flare Affairs, an agency for upcoming rap and electronic artists, commissioned me to design a promotional poster for two artists, Flare and Karim Tha Pesant, performing at Aures London. The project aimed to promote the artists' social media accounts and their debut EP's - 'What is Flare?' and 'Unstable'.

THE CONCEPT
My creative process for this brie started with finding the right fonts that would match both KarimThaPeasant and Flare's artistic image and style in the most accurate way possible. I achieve this by choosing bold and distorted fonts that represent the new wave in both the design and music industries, also adding a high contrast font weight between the artist name and the album title below.
The client also showed a great interest for my illustrations which lead me to select the best photos of each artist, provided by the client, and create a strong composition with individual original illustrations of each artist. Finally, I designed the final layout and opted for a vertical visual hierarchy of the elements with the text being the most relevant element at the top and the illustration holding the frame at the bottom, finishing up with a repetition of the artists social media accounts as requested by the client.
FINAL THOUGHTS
I acknowledge some mistakes made during the production of this design. One of the main points that I need to improve would be the initial communication with clients and how to fully understand their needs and ideas.
Overall, this project was not only fun to bring to life but also helped me develop my interpersonal and creative skills even further. I am extremely satisfied with the end result, the feedback from the client was also very positive and the main objective of the brief was fulfilled by increasing both performers social media followers by a couple hundreds in the days that followed the event.
