Philip Stein Interactive Watch Selector
Interactive Installation for The largest Philip Stein flagship store in Asia, located at ION Orchard in Singapore
The interactive screen features the newest in cutting edge motion sensor technology (Microsoft Kinect). It generates a home screen once the user has been 'detected' by the sensor. It will allow the user to navigate the screen with just the wave of their hand. The homepage for watch selection begins with the Watch Family Collections (prestige, signature, Active, etc..) once the user selects the family, he/she is directed to a case size selection screen. From there the user is then given the full array of strap choices to select from and complete "building" their own personal Philip Stein Watch.
Lastly, the interactive screen will also have a fun component to engage the customer one step further. Each system will be programmed with a game we call “Philip Stein Roulette.” The Roulette game must be ‘turned on’ or engaged by the sales associate in the store and is hidden to the consumer. The sales associate will hold their hand on a the secret spot of the screen and hold for 5 seconds to initiate the start of roulette (it will be the same way to switch the game OFF). This will allow easy switch over from product browsing to game feature. The customer will be let in to the game by an associate for a chance to virtually spin the watch/strap wheel on the screen. If the watch and strap combination landed on by the customer is the same as the target complete watch (denoted on screen) “congratulations you won” will appear on the screen. This screen will maintain until the sale associate engages the special pose again (raising hands).
