While working at Simpatico Theatre Project, I implemented a full rebranding initiative to update the personality and tone of the company.

Simpatico Theatre explores stories that celebrate, challenge, and expand our definitions of community and compassion. We stage thought-provoking work that’s grounded in social justice, civil rights, and community service. Our grassroots dedication to bridging communities fuels our work, reveals avenues of advocacy for our audiences, and leads to transformative collaborations in our city.

After embarking on a research adventure to explore theatre company branding throughout the city of Philadelphia, a semi-handmade style was chosen for the logo to help bring a personal touch to the work that Simpatico produces.

The posters below were developed for Simpatico's 12th Season, both to show the balance of light and darkness within the season's show selection, but also we wanted to make sure to highlight the personal stories of these 2 shows by using photographs of the cast members.

We also implemented a new photographic style for staff portraits to make sure to highlight the personality of the staff that matched with the overall spirit of Simpatico.
