Kiva – IWD 2020

Earlier this year, I had the privilege of working in collaboration with Austin, TX agency In-House International on the International Women's Day social media campaign for Kiva!

This year's theme was Celebrating Her Every Day #Business As Usual, to send a message that Kiva supports women, not just on March 8th but on every day of the year!
The design focused on illustrated portraits of women in Kiva's global network, depicting everyday strength using strong, optimistic profiles in a limited color palette.
In addition to the general graphics posted across a variety of platforms, I also had the honor of illustrating a series of portraits of social influencers from various walks of life, paired with illustrations of what being a powerful woman meant to each of them.
“A powerful woman is embraces and amplifies her economic power to make the world a better place for herself, her family, and the greater good. ”
– Julie Gordon White
“A powerful woman is someone who isn’t afraid to be herself, she can take her pain and use it as motivation to conquer anything in life.”
– Hanna Beth
“A powerful woman is a multitasking superhero: growing many dreams, focusing on family and still showing up like a star in her business.”

“A powerful woman sees the world in herself, and herself in the world. A powerful woman is an ally — both to others and herself. A powerful woman is every woman.”
– Rachel Rudwall
“A powerful woman is unapologetically fearless; humbly tackles each day with confidence and poise. She finds strength achieving her goals, celebrating other women and valuing wisdom gained from hardships.”
