In this project we designed a packaging concept for Sandeman, the well-known brand famous for its Porto. The brand became famous for its iconic character named Don. A mysterious figure, hidden by a wide cloak and a wide-brimmed hat. Black clothes that stand out in the darkness of the night.

In making this packaging we thought of a special edition of the famous Fine Ruby Porto. Starting from the halo of mystery of the Don we chose a total black concept. All the graphic elements are designed using a dark colors palette. The Don is represented only through the hatching of its silhouette. The only note of color is given by the red of the wine in the glass, which comes out on purpose from the edges. A small detail that recalls passion and stands out like a brushstroke in the night.

The project consists of the label to be applied to the bottle (made in two variants, in transparent glass and with matte effect) and a gift box (also made in two variants).
