Field and Frame Work

Field and Frame
This is a farming business located in the Wairarapa owned by Harry Eschenbach. His work consists of fencing, yard construction, building maintenance, stock work, water work, relief work and tree removal. His motto is "Nothing is too big or too small! Tackling all this agricultural and building." For this project, I worked on creating Harry a fitting logo to characterise and identify his business. I have also designed a professional and simplistic business card for Harry to his liking.

Logo
Harry sent through a mood board with his ideas and inspiration for what he wanted his brand to look like. From this, a frame for his logo was created. I had to capture a farming cultured logo, with a modern feel to it. I took heavy inspiration from the stock image of the grey house with the flick going through it and added in crop lines to resemble his businesses association with building work as well as farm work.
I tried out two colour schemes for the structure of the logo, using a barn red for image A, and a regular grey in image B. Harry preferred the grey colour scheme, so from here a draft of several ideas for the incorporation of text was made.
The bottom right image was the logo Harry wanted to move forward with. The text was then adjusted and a final logo was created.
Business Cards
Harry wanted a simple front for his business card, displaying his logo boldly with no distractions. The back contains a simple pattern with minimal opacity, a smaller print of his logo in the upper right hand corner, and his contact information.
