I have been wanting to do a project that used fast paced, kinetic text for a long time and I finally got the opportunity when the Indiana branch of Modern Woodsmen Financial wanted to make a hype up video for their internal employees.
I was given this project and it was mine to make from scratch. I wrote the script for everything, there's a wall in my apartment that had sticky notes to notate every frame. I feel like I've dipped my toes into everything except commercial writing and I have to say I am pretty happy with what I came up with.
I used a combination of kinetic text, fast paced music, and stock footage to create an up tempo hype up video that presents a lot of information in an interesting way.
