This was a project that was dropped by another designer and initially I struggled with the old designers foundations and what the owners actually wanted. When we sat down I told them the elements I really liked and how I would address the changes they wanted to see.
What we settled on was making the photos less emphasized by making them black and white and letting the two most important elements shine through: the name of the brewery and the name of the beer. The fact that there is a color tied to each beer helps create a sense of unity in each label but also sets them apart from eachother ultimately creating a nice "suite" together.
