Various Print Work for Garuda Indonesia
Flyers | Press Ads | Outdoor Advertisement
Background

Garuda Indonesia is the national flag carrier of Indonesia, proudly offering excellence in service and air travel since 1947. The company expanded its operation to Brisbane and I was commissioned to produce a wide array of print work with a quick turnover, completing them all using the company's brand style guide.

Albeit its popularity among the Brisbane-Indonesian community, Garuda Indonesia was still an unfamiliar name to the general Brisbane audience. The flyers were brought forward, printed in large formats to boost awareness along with several press ads commissioned for greater exposure.

Following the success of the series of print promotions, I was approached again to produce a full vehicle wrap covering the entire skin of the city loop - a free transport service operating around the Brisbane CBD.

This was supposed to be a one-month task when initially agreed, but got compressed to one and a half week as soon as I accepted the job. To make matter worse, Garuda Indonesia brand style guide didn't include any vehicle wrap, let alone a bus design.
Within the one and half week, I liaised intensively with Project Managers in Brisbane and Sydney offices, along with the Designers and Managers in Jakarta Headquarters, all to ensure the artwork projected a unified front and voice, aligning with the brand. In spite of its short timeframe, it was successfully delivered and more importantly resulted in an attention grabbing display viewed by hundreds and thousands across Brisbane City.
