Antártida is a coffee service I designed for a college project. The main inspiration for this collection is the animal penguin.
Antártida é um serviço de café que criei para um projecto de faculdade. A inspiração principal para esta colecção é o pinguim.
Here is the full collection, it includes a Milk Pan, a Coffee Pot, a Sugar Pot, a Coffee Cup and a Mug.
Aqui está a colecção na sua integra, esta inclui uma Leiteira, uma Cafeteira, um Açucareiro, uma Chávena de Café e uma Caneca.
This is the Milk Pan, the main piece that inspired the rest of the collection.
Esta é a Leiteira, a peça principal que inspirou o resto da colecção.
The Coffee Pot - It's similar to the Milk Pan. It gets it's color from the liquid it's supposed to carry. It's also a way to differentiate both pieces.
A Cafeteira - Semelhante a Leiteira. A sua cor é uma referência ao líquido que esta peça é suposta ter. É também uma forma de diferenciar ambas as peças.
The Coffee Cup is inspired in the shape of an Egg, being impossible to stand on it's own, it can only land on the metal base / saucer.
A Chávena de Café é inspirada na forma de um Ovo, sendo impossível esta aguentar-se em pé, esta só poderá ser pousada na base de metal / pires.
The Mug is also inspired in the shape of an Egg though much more limited when it comes to it's shape.
A Caneca é também inspirada na forma de um Ovo embora muito limitada no que toca a sua forma.
The Sugar Pot is also inspired in the shape of an egg and it used a metal base similar to the coffee cup so it can stand.
O Açucareiro vai novamente buscar a sua inspiração ao ovo, e usa uma base de metal semelhante a da chávena de café para que se possa aguentar.
