Behaviour Interactive -  Dead by Daylight
Behaviour interactive approached Battlefy to discuss entering the esports world. Their game Dead by Daylight was a commercial success and has since attracted more than 50 million players, however BI had not explored their esports options.

As DbD was initially built without any esports components in mind, BI was unsure how the egaming community would take to this new addition and whether it would be successful. Additional concerns arose around the games rules and how these would work in a new realm.

The Battlefy team worked with BI to ensure we adapted and crafted the rules to ensure a seamless online experience for the players, adaptions were put in place to accommodate as much as possible.
Battlefy acted as a force of launching DbD into the egaming world with their inaugural 'Community Cups'. We recommended launching a trial of Community Cups in 5 regions with over 5 standalone tournaments per region.

The Community Cups proved to be a great success, Battlefy succeeded in their <35,000 player guarantee, promoting the brand awareness of DbD. Top teams were awarded $1,000 per tournament, some tournaments reaching 238 teams registered (1190 players!).
As part of the experience, Battlefy delivered:
- Bespoke portal to act as the players centre of truth
- Orchestrated over 25 regional tournaments
- Owned and leveraged all player communications through its own discord server
- Delivered over <35,000 guaranteed players
- Curated player guide and gaming rules for the tournament
- Assisted on in game player bugs
