風大又怎樣——IM 兩岸青年影展

So What If It's Windy — In Moments Film Festival

海報作為最普遍的平面設計媒介之一，被應用於活動視覺時，不僅需要同時具備信息傳達和審美價值的功能，還需能體現活動的定位和內在氣質。在這組海報中，設計師以旁敲側擊的方式打造出充滿動感、多變的視覺效果，並清晰地表現了活動的概念和質感。

As a universal graphic design media, posters not only have the functions and characteristics of information transmission and beauty, but should also reflflect the orientation and inner temperament of an event being used as event visual. In this series of posters, the designer creates a dynamic and changeable visual effect by side-swiping, and clearly embodies the concept and texture of the activity.

作品為第三屆 IM 兩岸青年影展的主視覺海報。IM 兩岸青年影展致力於扶持兩岸高校青年影像創作力量，影展誕生於福建平潭——一座天然海島，四面環海，季風明顯，與台灣隔海相望。「風大又怎樣」作為第三屆 IM 兩岸青年影展的主題，以風為喻，映示年輕創作力量為平潭注入的新鮮活力，同時鼓勵青年創作者迎風逐浪，呈現多元、新銳的影像表達。

設計師的靈感源於「風」和「海」，這兩個意象都與本屆影展主題以及發源地的自然特徵緊密相關。畫面中海水高漲，浪潮翻湧；風本無形，設計師則通過翻動的紙頁和斷層的字體巧妙、有力地反映了風吹過的形態和力量，同時表現了海浪的起伏和間隔。

This work is the main visual poster of the 3rd In Moments Film Festival, which is committed to supporting the creative power of young people in colleges across the strait. The In Moments Film Festival was born in Pingtan, Fujian — a natural island surrounded by the sea, with obvious monsoon climate and facing Taiwan, China across the sea. As the theme of the 3rd In Moments Film Festival is “So What If It's Windy,” wind is used as a metaphor to show the fresh vitality that young creative forces have injected into Pingtan. At the same time, young creators were encouraged to ride the waves in the wind and present diverse and cutting-edge image expressions.

The inspiration of the designer comes from “wind” and “sea,” both of which are closely related to the theme of In Moments Film Festival and the natural characteristics of its birthplace. In the poster, the sea is rising and the tide is surging; the wind is naturally invisible, so the designer skillfully and forcefully reflects the shape and strength of the wind through the flipping pages and fragmented fonts, and at the same time shows the undulation and spacing of the waves.

從平面出發，用多個平面營造出不同層次，再回歸平面——設計師在創作時將風和海從二維中大膽解放出來，展現了別具一格的創新嘗試；這股簡單、直接的視覺力量也帶領觀者跳出傳統看待海報的形式，使人如同身臨海島，清晰地感受到風浪的存在。在海報中，設計師將「無形」化為「有形」，用紙張體現風浪關係的思路讓人耳目一新；作為活動主視覺，這股似要掙脫出平面的力量也與影展鼓勵新銳表達的定位非常契合。

不同於粘貼——海報普遍展示形式，這件作品在展示上採取了懸掛的形式。多張海報被懸掛於高空，正如海報中所描述的那樣隨風飄動。「風」作為主題在海報內外產生的奇妙呼應、多張海報營造出的整體氛圍和規模，都使得這件作品超越了海報設計本身所能傳遞的範圍，其與概念的高度統一也獲得了評委的認可。

Starting from the graphic, using multiple graphics to create different levels, and finally returning to the graphic — the designer boldly liberated the wind and sea from the two-dimensional in the creation, showing a unique innovation attempt; this simple and direct visual force also leads the viewer to jump out of the traditional way of looking at posters, making people feel the existence of wind and waves as if they were on an island. In the poster, the designer turned “invisible” into “tangible,” and the idea of using paper to reflect the relationship between wind and waves is refreshing; as the main visual of the event, the power that seems to break away from the graphic is also very consistent with the orientation of the Film Festival to encourage new and cutting-edge expression.

Unlike the general display form in which posters are pasted, this work is displayed in the form of hanging. A number of posters are hung in the air, as described in the poster, floating with the wind. The wonderful echo of “wind” as the theme inside and outside the poster, as well as the overall atmosphere and scale created by many posters, make this work beyond the scope of the poster design itself, and its high degree of unity with the concept has also been recognized by the judges.
