The aim of this project was to create a Monogram using my own initials, D & G. I had to go through various stages in order to create my final identity. Beneath, are some of the stages I had to go through including, research, initial ideas, refining and developing which then led me to create a 3D object, the stamp. Along the way I had to make various decisions such as the weight, typeface and other minor details, looking at the decorative tips. In the last couple of stages, I used the stamp to make marks on the paper and scanned them in, I wanted to achieve a distorted look, I then developed them using photoshop to create different colours and styles.
