The goal of this project was to use image manipulation and texture in order to find a creative solution to combining elements of Wolfgang Weingart’s Swiss Punk style with contemporary design. This posters aim is to draw viewers in by using visual elements that may be conducive to that of a marketing campaign.

Playing with typography was a way to bring subtle details to the poster. The “New Wave” typography went through many variations in order to effectively fit a clean, contemporary look while giving a nod to Swiss Punk design (new wave of design) pioneered by Weingart.

Texture, typography, collage, and a minimal color palette were used in order to bring in aspects that reflect Weingart’s work.
