Aurora presents a concept design for a new face cream container that embodies an organic and sculptural form, inspired by nature. The aim of this design is to create a visually appealing and environmentally friendly packaging solution that aligns with the growing demand for sustainable and nature-inspired products in the skincare industry.
The skincare industry is witnessing a significant shift towards eco-conscious and organic products. Consumers are increasingly seeking sustainable alternatives that not only deliver effective results but also minimize environmental impact. In response to this trend, I designed a face cream container that reflects commitment to nature-inspired formulations and sustainable packaging solutions.
Concept Development:
To create the design concept, I embarked on an extensive research and ideation phase to develop a concept that blends organic aesthetics with sculptural elements. The primary objective was to create a container that harmonizes with the natural ingredients used in the face cream formulation, while also evoking an emotional connection with the user.

Organic Form:
Taking inspiration from the fluid lines and shapes found in nature, I sculpted the container to resemble the gentle curves found in nature. The container's exterior features a seamless, undulating surface, mimicking the organic patterns found in shells, leaves, and petals. This design approach not only enhances the container's visual appeal but also creates a tactile and sensorial experience for the user.

In line with the sustainability goals of the project, the container is made from eco-friendly materials. The container is aimed to be made from recycled glass and its cap is made from recycled PE. This approach will minimize environmental impact. The choice of materials ensures that the container aligns with the commitment to sustainability and can be disposed of responsibly.

While the container's design emphasizes aesthetics, practicality and functionality were also key considerations. The container's size and shape were optimized to accommodate a standard volume of face cream, ensuring convenience for users. Furthermore, the design includes a secure and user-friendly closure mechanism to maintain the product's freshness and prevent leakage.
