Life as a Mirrorball: exploring isolation and detachment through reflection, shattered glass, and the overlooked traits of a glittering mirrorball. 

I created this project for my AP art portfolio during my senior year. I used mirrorball in this project to symbolize feeling overlooked, isolated, and broken. Mirrorball remain in the center of a room glittering and spinning yet are so often overlooked. They are shattered and glued back together yet we barley notice them. They reflect the emotions of everyone around but still remain detached.

This project was inspired by "mirrorball" by Taylor Swift.
