For this project I was tasked with creating a responsive website that combines the principles of UI/UX and design within the program Figma. I chose to center my website around the graphic designer Wolfgang Weingart. Searching through possible designers to center this project around, Wolfgang Weingart’s works stood out to me the most, his unique and timeless works center around techniques including collage work, which I thought would lead into website design very well. I originally planned for the website to be very minimalistic with obvious inputs but ended up creating a more challenging UI while keeping the UX as simple as possible. I tried my best to emulate his design and poster style while modernizing it a little within an intuitive website layout. In my opinion the styling turned out great. The website is intuitive, easy to navigate, and captures Weingart’s sense of style very well and I am overall proud of my results.
