Creative Coding, DONE!!!!

As part of our requirements in school, we took Creative Coding for 3 weeks with our dear teacher, Yin Lui.

At first, I was a bit hesitant to join this module just because of the word "coding". But it was a good decision because I had a lot of fun playing with numbers, syntax and words. Lol! Maybe coding is not really a scary word after all. Thus most especially, I got the chance to collab with my Pare, Gino Asuncion, and definitely brought out the Filipino in us. This might just be a simple class project, but we saw a lot of potential on this, that we hope to pursue in the future. We worked on a lot of layers, discipline on this projects, from graphic design, development to etymology to the cultural aspect.

So ladies and gents, may we present to you, PILI-PINAS: Unraveling the different Filipino Identity through Building Blocks - An Interactive Poster.
For the first draft of this project, we use one of my previous work called Color Words, derive from the research of scholar Felice Prudente Sta. Maria, originally featured during Filipinas Heritage Library's exhibit entitled COLOR IN HISTORY in Ayala Museum Museum, August 2016.
Note: We're looking to collab with other creatives and potential partners. If you think this project has potential, please send me a message. Salamat!
