In January 2024, I was invited by Seattle Met to work on some spot illustrations for their upcoming Spring '24 Issue. The section, titled "Obsessions," is a reoccurring feature that interviews notable Seattleites on their favorite sights to see around the city. This issue featured local artist Cristina Martinez.
In her interview, Cristina highlights three of her favorite kid-friendly stops around Seattle: The Seattle Art Museum, The Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium, and Metropolitan Market. These three locals were represented by the famous Hammering Man statue, a friendly walrus, and the incomparable Met Market chocolate chip cookie, simply referred to as "The Cookie."
