Interstate is a typeface made by Tobias Frere-Jones in 1993, and was made for signage usage. Overall, this booklet discuss and analize Interstate’s history, anatomy structure, type family, size, and the applications of this typeface. Made to simply understand the typeface, this booklet takes road as a concept with grey and contrast yellow color to give a clear message.

 

 

 

 

To show this typeface features, I used it in some media such as poster, game cards, calendar, and medicine packaging. With same purpose as the booklet, these applications doesn’t just only use Interstate typeface but also show function, history, characteristics, and all structures in alphabet and numbers.
