BRIEF

Chroma 256 was a project initiated and managed by USC Lecturer Kevin Todd, the
purpose was to create an awareness of the complexity of our relationship with colour.

We were asked to document the relationship between a child and colour, our own relationship
with colour and the relationship between that of an elderly person and colour.

The project involved design students in Australia, China, Turkey, Ecuador, South Africa, India, Germany and the
United States undertaking the same colour project, with the outcome being exhibited in each country.

I was fortunate enough to be chosen among the top 8 designs form the University of Johannesburg,
and therefore was ableto join the exhibition.
