This was my proposed cover for the 2014 edition of Grahamstown's National Arts Festival programme. 2014 saw the celebration of the 40th year of the festival. I created black and white vector portraits of a variety of performers due to take part in the festival that year and fitted them into the shape of the 40 along with historical landmarks of the town. I filled the remaining space with shapes and images that I felt encapsulated the spirit of the festival. My design was chosen for the final programme cover and as such was featured on much of the festival's promotional material as well as on the final programme itself.
