ARC Cancer Support Centres & Liam Laffin (in memory of his wife who used the ARC services)
Brief
Design original branded print and digital collateral for a charity concert headlined by Vogler Quartett which was held in St Patrick's College, Dublin. The guidelines were to create a colourful, clean and eye catching design that uses the Quartet's already existing photography.
my role
• Liaised with the event organiser and printers
• Designed original Branding
• Created print collateral (posters, flyers/programmes and tickets)
• Created digital assets for Eventbrite website (online tickets sales)
solution
• Separated design elements into 4’s (representing each member of the Quartett)
• Springtime colour palette (creates an uplifting mood and used to accentuate the B+W photography)
• Typography based on sheet music (bars used to create hierarchy and separate information)
Flyers: Programme and band bio on the reverse side
Tickets: 4 different versions (one for each member of the Quartet)
Proposed idea: Vinyl record to be sold to raise more funds
Eventbrite: Website for purchasing tickets online (created digital assets and maintained site regarding sales)
Design Inspiration: DCU College (one of the sponsors), I was inspired by the colourful strips of light
