MULTI-LICHT-BLICK // WE ARE STARDUST
“Multi-Licht-Blick” is my first exploration into interactive media. It was exhibited at the BERKWERK 2016.2, FHWS, Würzburg, Germany.
Real data from ground-based telescopes and satellites of the Crab Nebula (a remnant of a star explosion from 1054 A.D.) are projected onto vivid background. Text animation and sound tell the fascinating story of how we are all stardust. The viewer interacts with the installation through a control panel. This allows to change the wavelength that is observed and the information that is told. Only by paying attention to all wavelength it is possible to understand the full story and nature of the object.
