A personal illustration which I submitted to the unofficial Greyscale Gorilla Slack channel, AskGSG. Every week the drawing channel tackles a concept to keep our brains sharp. 

The Concept for the 50th challenge is Kaiju (Strange Beast). 

The basis of the challenge is that has no rules, other than to convey "Kaiju" in your concept art. This means that you can use any medium that you want, as long as you post it before Thursday 11:55 pm

As a fan of the film Pacific Rim, I decided to base the style of my Kaiju on the style of Kaiju's from the film.

The theme I strived towards is when a Kaiju destroys a city, and the moment the earth is burning. 

I enjoyed the final piece a lot and decided to play with the concept a little further. So I did a quick expansion of a micro-site
